Welcome to Christ Church, Kensington
We are delighted you are here, whether you are exploring the claims of Jesus, or you long to know and serve him better. We are a friendly church family in the heart of West London, situated a stone’s throw from High Street Kensington, Imperial College, RCM and Gloucester Road. We’re very much a local church, enjoying close links with both Thomas’ Prep School and St Mary Abbot’s Church of England Primary School, rated as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED (children of active members of Christ Church share the same admissions status as those who worship at St Mary Abbot’s church itself) and also the Victoria Road area residents association.
Christ Church is warm and welcoming – a village church in the heart of London – and is open to everyone, regardless of age, sex, race and religious or cultural background. We aim to reach out with the good news about Christ, to help Christians to know and love God better and to be a beacon within our own community and more widely across West London. However, we wish to do so in a way in which people can engage meaningfully and appropriately given their different circumstances and doesn’t tramline or pigeonhole anyone.
