11am Service
Our morning service leans towards the traditional without being formal.
We meet as a wonderful mix of ages and stages to hear God’s word taught, to sing his praises, to pray for the needs of the church family and the world, and to encourage one another.
The service is based on the Book of Common Prayer, with music led by organ and choir to a high standard. At its heart is the reading and preaching of the Bible, thoughtfully and carefully applied to our lives.
We strive to make every aspect of the service unpretentious and accessible to all. We think that even if you have never been to church before, you will be able to engage without embarrassment.
There is an outstanding children’s programme for 0s to 11s, run within the church building, with the children leaving partway through the service.
The service lasts for an hour. Afterwards we serve tea and coffee, and also run informal games for the children, so that parents are free to chat with others. About once a month we serve lunch (£5) – you can sign up for that through the calendar.
