For generations Christians have prepared for Jesus’ first coming at Christmas by looking to his second coming at the end of time. This is because in the Bible the two days are inseparable, known together as ‘The Day of the Lord’.

This day dominates the Old Testament prophecy of Zephaniah, a prophecy that showcases God’s radical commitment to his people and world. 2,600 years on, God continues to speak, preparing us for the big day.
