What should church leaders be like? And what should they do?

Probably we all have our opinions. But in 2 Timothy we hear the priorities of God.

Timothy was the pastor of a church in Turkey in the mid-first century AD. While there, he received a letter from Jesus’ apostle Paul. The purpose of the letter was to help both Timothy and the church be crystal clear on what God wanted Timothy to do – and the secrets to doing it.

As we read 2 Timothy today, we learn not just what to expect from our clergy and wardens, but also what to value, encourage and pray for.
