Judges | Why societies that don't do God won't do well
Judges tells the 300-year history of when God’s people did what was right in their own eyes, rejecting his rule. It is full of great stories of God’s gracious deliverance through unlikeable heroes: Gideon and his fleece, Samson and his hair, Ehud and his dagger. But fundamentally it is the history of a nation falling apart.
The book explains much about our society today. But it also speaks hope to anyone who welcomes Jesus’ rule as king and seeks to live by his Spirit to do good to others.
